My name is Ricardo and I’m from Columbia. I studied in La Lingua, the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course for 16 weeks and it was a very good experience for me.
The quality of the teachers were very good, they helped a lot with my IELTS preparation and I did the IELTS Academic exam and I got a very good score, it was 7.5.
In the EAP course we did a practice test every 2 weeks and this was very helpful because the practice tests of the school are very similar to the real IELTS. Also my class was very multicultural and there were people from many countries such as France, Germany, Turkey, Korea, Japan, Philippines, Vietnam, Chile, Spain, etc.
The atmosphere of the school is very friendly and I made very good friends and I keep in touch with many of them.
I really recommend studying English in La Lingua, because in my personal case my English level improved a lot and I was very successful in the IELTS test.
Also the EAP course is very good for people who want to go to the University because the teachers usually do a lot of reading and writing and the level is very high.
I have the best memories of my time in La Lingua and I will never forget this experience. It was a great time for me because I studied English very hard but at the same time I met lots of nice people and I also enjoyed Sydney life that is really amazing…
